Thursday I played fetch and then we met up with a friend from high school and her friend from down here, and went out to dinner, after which we got a personalized, individualized tour of the Delta hangar bays and repair facilities at Hartsfield (the high school friend's friend is a mechanic for Delta).
Friday, we delivered a colleague to the office, I introduced Don around, and then we went out to Fernbank Natural History Museum. They've currently got an IMAX film on Shackleton's expedition to the Arctic, plus a static exhibit of the photos from the expedition; the other current attraction is an exhibit on pearls which was really cool. And their mainstay is the "Walk Through Time in Georgia" exhibit, which shows the flora and fauna of seven different geographical regions and tells some of their history. Neat stuff.
Yesterday, we went out to the Fernbank Science Center, which is a smaller facility - it's biggest attraction is the planetarium. So we visited a planetarium show there, and wandered around (what wandering there was to do) - they've got Apollo 6 there on display, among other things. We visited Underground Atlanta where we mostly had lunch and wove gingerly through an enormous mob; decided not to stand in line for an hour in the hot sun to get into the World of Coca-Cola museum and store; came back to regroup and then went to see The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Which I sort of liked, even though it was sort of silly. Regrouped again and went out for an excellent dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse - I highly recommend it!
Today we're just resting - hanging out by the pool, going out for brunch, etc. And tomorrow Don's flying home...sigh...

When you coming home?
Fun-filled, indeed!

Kinda like "Well, we're gonna head back to our hotel room now and take a "nap.""
:-)
