Having an attack of decluttering...tried posting an old LJ meme but it now leads to a dead link. Ah, well - at least I know I can just dump the note with the code.

Brother Douglas, the prior of the monastery where I'm an Associate, died very suddenly on the 5th of May - only 61, and he hadn't been ill. Apparently it was a heart attack, although I'm not sure anybody really knows.

I'm doing okay; it's a tough loss. It just takes the time it takes, dealing with it.

Unfortunately, no - you won't see us for Procrastinators' Beltaine because he'll be prepping for Summer Session that starts Tuesday, and I'll be trying desperately to finish Schola's June program and get it to the printer in time to get it printed!

You'll just have to have some extra fun on our behalf, I guess!

Seriously, it's been nuts. I really don't have time for simple stuff like food and bio breaks and sleep, let alone writing. But I'm still here, and I'll try to let out some sort of "yawp" every so often so people know I'm still kickin'.

Re: spring cleaning -- Man, why is it so much easier to get motivated to clear out, sort out, and organize this time of year than at almost any other? Last evening I was hauling things out of tiny tot's closet (because she was out of the house and not "helping" Mama). I took 99% of the stuff out of the hall closet, put it in a clear plastic bag, and put it in my way in the den (so I'd be irritated enough by it to sort it). I'm putting winter clothes away and getting summer clothes out. I'm trying to pull things together for a July garage sale. . . . and I'm blathering away in your comments!!
