Indeed. One very tired tech writer here, reporting in for Friday, January 9, 2004. At least I feel I'm actually accomplishing something, and the things I'm accomplishing are neither trivial nor boring. These are good things.

Looking forward to a good rest this weekend, in between finishing getting unpacked and setting stuff up, and running around to various shops filling in what I consider the ridiculous gaps in common sense committed by whoever designed and/or decorated this apartment.

Well, whatever you do, don't go to All Souls. They have photos from the AAC meeting in Dallas proudly posted on their website and "An Open Letter to The Most Rev. Frank T. Griswold from The Rt. Rev. Stephen H. Jecko (that would be the Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Florida)" that I haven't bothered reading because I have a good sense of what it will say.

All Saints looks WAY too "laid back" for words.

And I just looked at the Florida Diocese website. They have "News from the AAC" as one of their links. Can't think it's because they want to see what the "other guy" is up to...

There has to be a "voice crying in the wilderness" somewhere in JAX. St. Bede's in Santa Fe was the one I found in NM. You may want to get in touch with folks at All Saints Atlanta (or even St. Bede's, actually) to see if they can recommend a similarly-minded church in what appears to be a staunch AAC bastion.

Wish I had better news.
