Amusing meme I stole from skitten...

Invent a memory of me and post it in the comments. It can be anything you want, so long as it's something that's never happened. Then, of course, post this to your journal and see what people would like to remember of you, only the universe failed to cooperate in making it happen so they had to make it up instead.

Oh, that's neat. I'm having a hard time picturing what age Gabi is, in this - she's not speaking, even in whispers, but I get an impression she's maybe seven or so? Or even a little older?

I didn't realize that she hadn't actually *said* anything until I went back and read it. Maybe because she's pre-verbal right now "in real life," I just gave her a physical, nonverbal way for her to communicate in this "memory".

Yes, I think she'd be between 5 and 7 here. Not sure how old a child would be before building a sand castle might be too young of an activity. We went to the beach rarely when I was a kid, so I don't have any personal experience to gauge it by. But if we're letting her play on her own, within our sight, she'd have to be in school at the very least. And, she can dress herself . . . have no idea when kids can do that.

Oh, they don't always outgrow sand castles. I have photos of a really impressive one done by some college guys one time out at the Lake.

Not sure about dressing - for some things earlier than others, because it depends a lot on development of fine motor control.
